Deborah Leben began her professional career at the U.S. Secret Service as a technical expert in forensic science and the past 17 years in senior leadership positions in government and nonprofit organizations. She earned a Master of Forensic Science from George Washington University and a Master of Science in Technology Management from George Mason University. Following graduation, Deborah pursued and achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification and used the tools and practices while executing projects and enterprise programs resulting in a measurable benefit to the organization. She is an avid promoter of the PMP certification and has mentored others in achieving the same to expand their skills, advance career opportunities, and set them up for success in managing projects effectively.
