According to PMI, the new Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification exam will better support project professionals in their career journeys by testing the skills entry-level professionals need to understand project management fundamentals, as well as predictive, adaptive and business analysis principles. We recommend that you start training now if you want to take the current CAPM® exam based on the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition. It’s okay if you start your studies now, but eventually run out of time for this version of the exam. No, the new exam questions are based on the Exam Content Outline. The reference list expands beyond the PMBOK Guide and will include traditional, business analysis, and agile principles. The resource list contains seven (7) different titles. They include:
